Overall this was a good stay. I would rate it a 3.5 because it is slightly better than average. Gabriel at the front desk provided a warm welcome. He acknowledged my platinum status and offered me rhe water bottle welcome bag. I would have declined and taken the points had I known there were two bottles of water already in the room. He did help with an issue, for which I was very appreciative. I was only staying one night as I was in town for business. I had a king room which shared by others is small. It was clean and enough for me but definitely would need something wirh space to sit and spread out if my husband was wirh me. I did have the buffet included with my rate and took advantage of it the next morning. There were plenty of options, including tast scones. I'll be honest and say I expected them to be horrible Starbucks quality but mine was soft on the inside, hot and tasty. The staff that checked me out were pleasant as well. The only con was a bag of trash and towels remained in the hallway before my room from the time I arrived until I left. I reported it to rhe front desk upon leaving. The attendant apologized and immediately called someone in housekeeping. It's a good location and I would stay for business again.

The front desk (Mimi, Tracy and Gabriel in particular) and bar staff (Lisa, Hunter, Bianca) and every one else whose names I regretfully forget, are gems. This hotel lucked out with its staff. I have never felt so welcomed and cared for anywhere else, and I travel quite a bit. I would rate this hotel much more just because of the people.

The hotel was very beautiful and clean. The only downside was when we got there, we decided to park in the lot across the street instead of using the hotel valet due to the fact it was $20 cheaper and we were going to be using the car a lot. Right as my boyfriend parked the car a "parking attendant" came over out a ticket of the dashboard and told him it would be $20 for the night so my boyfriend paid him, the "attendant" took the money and wasn't seen for the rest of our stay. Thankfully a homeless guy came over and told my boyfriend he just got robbed and the real parking enforcement was coming over to put a boot on the car and it would have been $80 to get it off, so we ended up paying another $30 to park. When we told the bartender and the front desk about what happened, they said "oh the guys across the street got you? welcome to Atlanta." The hotel and basically the city knows this happens in that parking lot and they don't do anything about it. It would've been great for the hotel to give us a heads up, but the only response was basically "be grateful it was only $20 and welcome to Atlanta"

Clean hotel with friendly, helpful, and professional staff (Mimi & Gabriel). I would have given five stars, but the valet parking staff are dishonest and lie. I asked them about parking options, and they told me the valet parking for $47 per night was the only option in town, but next-door parking was for $15. I understand they want to promote their valet parking service, but they should provide accurate information and let customers decide.

I booked a stay at AC Hotel Atlanta Downtown to participate in the Hot Chocolate Run. I knew from information on the website it was close to Centennial Olympic Park, but I was really excited when I saw how close! I needed to change my reservations the day of arrival, and had no issues making changes even though I'm sure they were seeing an influx thanks to the race and other activities. We were warmly welcomed by the valet service upon arrival and had no issues checking in quickly. All associates working the front desk were very attentive and inviting. Ms. Tracy checked us in and was an absolute gem during our stay! Race day was cold and upon returning to the hotel, Ms. Tracy had hot chocolate with marshmallows out for guests as they were entering or leaving the property. The double queen room was very nice and easily accommodated three adults. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful and had a mounted shower head and a rain shower head. I used the rain shower head and it was awesome! My only "complaint" was that the bed looked more comfortable than what it truly was, but it did not deter me enjoying my night's sleep or my stay in general. The property is also walking distance to other great sites in downtown. I truly enjoyed our stay and plan on returning to take advantage of it's central location. It was an overall excellent experience from check in to check out. Somethings I looked for in reviews trying to figure out my stay: *Breakfast is extra in their restaurant *valet parking is $47 a day with unlimited access to your vehicle (their valet service was quick and good) *Waffle House was located near (on the corner right before you got to the park) and other restaurants were within easy walking distance
